Chad’s Eventful Day

Chad Smith was a plain, normal, coffee addict with an average height and an average weight. Chad Smith had always loved his home, Grass City, with its rich, bright-green grass. It was a place where he could relax, without many annoyances disturbing him. His friends saw him as a boring man with nothing special about him. Just last week, he had ignored a young child who had broken his leg, despite his screaming. That’s the sort of man he was. He didn’t want any annoyances to darken his day. Chad walked over to his window and gazed at his beloved city. The sun shined bright like an enormous lightbulb. He noticed something approaching from the distance, The silhouette of a man he wished he could forget. It was the figure of Liam Jones, a rude man with money problems. Chad gulped. He definitely did not want to see Liam on his wonderful day. When Liam got to the doorstep, he started pounding on Chad’s door. As Chad stepped outside and Liam came closer, he could see the greedy glint in his eye. “I’m here because I want some cash,” Liam declared, in an annoying voice. Liam was a beggar who targeted Chad due to his tendency to give up because he didn’t want to waste time talking to him. Liam would always act as if Chad owed him something, which he did not. In fact, Liams debt had been stacking up to thousands of dollars because he never paid back what he “borrowed”. Liam slammed his fist against Chad’s chest, with the force of 100 monkeys. “I’m not leaving until you pay up, Chad.” Chad looked back, even more uncomfortable and reached for the metal pipe conveniently leaning on his wall next to him. “Liam, I don’t like you, please stay away from my house” he replied. Liam looked at him, with a face that showed obvious despair, like a man who had just been kicked out of his apartment after losing his job. Suddenly, Liam lunged forward and tried to sock Chad in the face. Quickly, Chad gripped the metal pipe and slammed it down on Liam’s skull. Liam’s fat head trembled and his short arms wobbled. He looked confused, his body twitching like a phone set on vibrate. He let out an agonising groan and fell backwards to the sidewalk. A few minutes passed, and Liam was dead. Chad sighed, and went back inside and made himself a nice cup of coffee.
